I have wrote 8 reviews for Review Stream and have been paid $8.70, that is £4.35 for about an hour and a halfs work, they pay 75p ($1.50) per review, however there is a rate called Bulk Rate which is paid if the review doesn't fall into the popular categories, or isn't good enough, this rate is 15p (30 cents), which isn't quite as worth it but is better than some review services out there.
The main categories tend to be electronics, insurance, cars, finance, phones and airlines, although there are categories for almost everything. There is also a list of requests from users for reviews, if you review something on this list you are normally guaranteed the 75p rate.
You can make 5p (10 cents) for every vote that you get on your review as well, so get your friends to read and vote and you may make some extra cash.
An important note is that you CANNOT publish your review anywhere else, do this and you wont be writing for Review Stream again, also don't bother reviewing things you don't know much about just because it gets the highest rate, this site is designed for people who just like to write reviews, the money is a bonus, obviously I'm doing it for money.
Your review will get accepted or declined within 2 or 3 days, they are normally very good with this.
Overall, the service is great, you can review when you want and what you want, there's no signing up neccessary, you simply choose a nickname, then put your pen name, review title, product your reviewing, location (if its a shop or hotel etc.), email (your paypal email, paypal is needed). Then write your review, agree to the terms, and say whether you except the bulk rate, if you don't select this then you wont get paid anything if it isn't good enough or in an unpopular category. Even 15p is better than nothing. Your balance can be seen at the bottom of each acceptance email you reveive. You can request your money when you make £25 ($50), payment is through paypal.

Look carefully at the comments and you will see a nasty one from someone claiming to be review stream and then one from someone else going by the name "Webber" after review stream got called out for being so rude. The attacks seem very personal and cross the line from professional to just personal attacks. Both "review stream" and "Webber" write in the same broken English that you get in emails if you ask questions from review stream (those emails were also really rude).
I would avoid Review Stream.
