WorldStart

WorldStart is a service that produces newsletters for subscribers and pays the content writers a very acceptable price, but you wont be writing one everyday because it takes some time to get them accepted, and I have trouble finding something to write on because almost everything is covered, I found if I write things about Windows Vista, then it has been tackled on the site yet so I get accepted.

As I said the pay is good, from the site:
  • The minimum page length is 1 page (approximately 400 words) with screenshots - $45.00, without screenshots - $35.00
  • Two pages (approximately 800 words) with screenshots - $55.00, without screenshots - $45.00
  • The max is three pages (approximately 1200-1500 words) with screenshots - $65.00, without screenshots - $55.00.
The process you have to go through is:
  • Submit an idea here
  • They will look at the idea and reply to you saying whether they want you to write it, to minimise the chance of rejection, make sure the article is not published on the site already
  • If accepted, you will write the article and send it to them as an attachment
  • The article will then be put in a queue
  • When the article is published in the newsletter you will receive the appropriate payment through paypal, payment was fast, I just sent my email address and it went straight in.
The company behind WorldStart seem to be nice people, they are real people, so don't expect anything special in replying, but generally they get back to you within a couple of days.

Overall a good site, plus you may find some tips yourself which you never knew about, you can check out the guidelines and more information as well as submit an idea here: http://www.worldstart.com/writers-guidelines/

Great article. I went to submit an idea but the form doesn´t seem to be working. Have they stopped accepting ideas?
